Where is The Mole?
The Mole Resort is located just outside the charming village of Chittlehamholt. Burrowed into the heart of the Devonshire countryside near the River Mole, The Mole Resort is within reach of Exmoor and the stunning coastlines (both Jurassic and Atlantic). Visit our How To Find Us page.
How many guests can you accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 200 guests in our Valley Suite, 400 wedding guests in a Marquee on our 125 acres or even small intimate weddings for less than 30 in our Exmoor Suite or Morning Room.
Can we book the whole resort for our wedding?
Yes, exclusive venue hire is available. You will have full access to all accommodation, amenities and all areas of the resort.
Can we host both the ceremony and reception at the resort?

Is The Mole Resort licensed for civil ceremonies?

Can we have an outdoor wedding at The Mole Resort?
Yes, we offer several beautiful outdoor locations for weddings, including the Manor House croquet lawn and the arbour, both of which provide stunning views of the Devon countryside.
Is there a bridal suite available?
There's a beautiful Manor Suite which is spread over 2 floors with a private sauna, steam-room, roll-top bath and plenty of space for getting ready. There's also 3 types of luxury lodge available from 2, 3 to 4 bed and private cottages all of which have hot tubs.

- Valid for weddings on selected dates in: Oct – Dec 2025, Jan – Apr 2026, and Oct – Dec 2026.
- The complimentary beverage spend value is determined based on the total wedding package value: £250 beverage spend for wedding packages up to £10,000 or £500 beverage spend for wedding packages over £10,000.
- Offer can be redeemed against reception drinks, wine service, or evening bar tabs.
- Offer is not exchangeable or refundable and cannot be transferred to other services.
