While our resort offers a peaceful and secluded retreat, the nearby village of Chittlehamholt is just a short walk away. The surrounding area is dotted with charming villages, each set in picturesque landscapes. Just a 10-minute drive from the resort, you'll find Chittlehampton, home to a country pub, a church, and a shop that sells freshly baked cakes and savoury treats.

Road, Rail and Air
Despite the resort's remote location, there are several road routes available. We recommend taking the routes that approach from the south, either via Exeter or South Molton. These routes can be accessed whichever location you’re driving from.
The closest train station is the small station of Umberleigh which has a direct train from Exeter St Davids. Tiverton Parkway is 32 miles away and offers a direct 2-hour train from London Paddington.
Helicopters can land on site at The Mole Resort with at least 24 hours prior notice and conditions permitting. Landing is possible at Eaglescott Airfield for helicopters and light aircraft, about 6 miles away from The Mole Resort.
